*This bubble batter is made with about one and a half bottles of Dawn brand dish detergent and one or two tablespoons of glycerin (available at any drug store) in five gallons of water.

** The Harry Elkins Widener Memorial Library is the anchor of Harvard's library system. The Widener family built it in honor of their son who went down with the Titanic a couple years after graduating from Harvard College.

***In Boston, it is so called because cod was the original foundation of Boston's wealth.
