Bachelor of Liberal Arts                 In '98 I finally got a bachelor's degree. Also, I had the good fortune of garnering a couple of awards along with it: the Student Commencement Speaker Prize and the Reginald Phelps Prize. You can read about them in the relevant article of the Harvard Gazette.                 The speech was published in the '98 Extension Alumni Bulletin. If you read it, please keep in mind that it was written not for a Web audience but for my classmates and their families and friends. Thank you!                 What the school gave me was more than I had ever anticipated. I would liken the experience to getting a pair of much needed eyeglasses. I will always be grateful to our Harvard Extension School.
